Since the Romania visa application process is divided into an online and in-person document submission, you must have both electronic and physical copies of the documents.

Additionally, when you submit the originals of your documents to the Romanian consulate or diplomatic mission, they must be in A4 paper format.

All the documents must be either in English or Romanian. If they are not, you must have them translated by an authorized translator.
In many cases, the documents you submit, such as birth or marriage certificates, diplomas, background checks, powers of attorney etc. may have to be legalized through an Apostille Stamp.
EU/EEA and Swiss nationals do not need a visa to enter Romania for any length of time, nor special authorization to work.
